International Coach Federation (ICF) Converge Conference
Washington, DC, August 24-26, 2017

The ICF held a global conference with over 1,600 attendees in Washington DC. See Info Here. The Gay Coaches Alliance (GCA) was well represented at the conference. The event started out with a gay coaches networking dinner on Wednesday evening, organized by local DC GCA member, Marshall Brown, at the Lebanese Taverna restaurant, also attended by Damian Goldvarg, Tim Kincaid, and several guests. GCA members Damian Goldvarg, Jeff Nally, and Terry Hildebrandt actively promoted Super-Vision for Coaches by staffing a dedicated table and by offering complimentary, sample supervision sessions throughout the conference. Damian also hosted a networking event for experienced supervisors on Thursday evening and a special evening workshop to introduce coaches to supervision. The conference was a great opportunity to network with other coaches around the world. Many of the workshops were literally standing room only due to the popularity of the event. The ICF plans to do their next global conference in 2019.
