Seven Types of Rest

Change, uncertainty, and chaos are becoming the norm, I have experienced many moments of awe this week coaching resilient people, digging deep, and doing their best to KEEP GOING. It's necessary and commendable, AND don't forget to REST. I notice how much I begin to rely on my 'inner calm' through chaos, and change. I can only tap into this if I have allowed myself adequate and intentional rest. What about you?

For me it’s SENSORY REST from electronics and cityscapes -- a no technology, LONG hike in the woods away from my laptop and the noise of Boston city living. When we next meet, full permission to ask me about my planned hike or how my walk in the woods went!. My commitment to accountability!

Which one is calling most to you?
How will you cultivate it?

Here is a reflective article on different types of rest.
