Michael Cohen Bids Farewell to The GCA and
An Appreciation of Michael

Congratulations to all of you who organized and made the 2019 conference such a success! I heard from a few of the attendees that it was full and rich and every bit the professional endeavor it always has been. Kudos to all!

I think it is 10 years since we founded the GCA, and my involvement in that has been one of the joys of my life. I am very proud of what we built. And I am more proud that it continues to thrive and bring in new men who bring their talents and skills.

My decision to not attend the 2019 conference was a tough one for me. It just felt right to take myself out of the planning and doing and let others take over. From here on, I will remain a proud member of the GCA but have decided to leave the Board of Directors and any administrative responsibilities. It just feels like time to move on. As life moves along, there are other pursuits that I have for myself.

I have the greatest respect for my co-founders, Harry, Allen and Dave. I also greatly respect and appreciate all of the men who have stepped up over the years to take charge and give so much of themselves. I wish the GCA the best of luck and the best of experiences.
