And, before they leave they are invited to sign up for a complimentary coaching session; that, of course, is intended to lead to the purchase of a coaching package.

Not too long ago, a Nor’easter knocked attendance at a workshop way down. I decided to follow up with those who didn’t attend, sending them the workbook from the program that they missed, and inviting them to a complimentary coaching session. Within fifteen minutes, one individual scheduled a coaching session…and is now a client. Follow-up works!
