Increased business revenue with fewer hours worked! I empowered my client (a fellow coach) to increase their rates by 25%, reduce their hours from 80 weekly to less than 40 weekly, and really lean into their Zone of Genius — coaching young adults.

I deeply believe that knowing and being able to apply coaching skills – whether as a coach, a manager, a leader, a partner, a friend, or even a stranger – can add great value to every relationship. In 2021, in addition to coaching clients ranging from college freshmen to mid-career professionals to retirees, I taught coaching skills to change management professionals, was a member of a team of coaches who developed an executive coach training program for a major university, and created a coaching skills for managers course for businesses.

After a hiatus from coaching for much of 2021, I secured an online client that fused coaching with my body-centered training and practices so that we are accessing changes through the body more than the mind. An example, he started one session saying that he was confused. I asked him: Are YOU confused, or is your mind confused? He said that that was a good question. I then guided him through a deep relaxation process, similar to what I do in my classes, and had him go into his body, and after a few minutes he realized that "he" wasn't confused. It was just his mind. And, in that state, he had clarity. It was a very powerful moment that even surprised me.
