It will be great to be together in-person again at Easton Mountain for our annual International Gay Coaches Conference is May 4-8. Our outstanding conference planning committee – Chris Cooper, Pete Simmonds, and Dean Myers – are creating the biggest and best conference yet. Since the first conference in 2010, there is still nothing else like it. There are still a few spaces available, so don’t wait to register. I hope to see you there.

“Coaching Wisdom, Voices of the Gay Coaches Alliance” is set to debut at the conference. This book, available in print-on-demand and eBook formats, offers unique perspectives in nearly two dozen chapters by GCA members. The idea for the book came out of our 2017 conference, so it’s fitting that we celebrate the book’s release at the 2022 conference. More details on how to obtain a copy to follow. Special thanks to my fellow GCA Book Project team of Adam Robersmith and Tom Keydel.

If you want to increase the value of GCA membership, increase your engagement in GCA. Attending monthly virtual meetings and our conferences are important. To scale up to meet the needs of our growing membership, we will need more of you to volunteer. You can start smaller on a committee or project. Or go bigger and consider serving on the 2022-23 Board of Directors. The one-year term begins at the conference in May.
